Puzzled by the tax law or by which credits and deductions to take?  Need assistance with your tax return?  Come to a VITA site near your home and get your taxes done free of charge by an IRS certified volunteer.  If your household or individual income is $50,000 or less per year, these trained community volunteers will prepare your federal and state taxes free of charge.  They are especially proficient in getting all the special credits you may be allowed under tax law.  Many of the sites take appointments. If you would like to make an appointment to get your taxes done, call 2-1-1 after January 23 and they will schedule a time for you.
