On April 22, 2014, four local residents, all member of the Morgan LDS Stake, received their BSA Wood Badge beads.

Wood Badge is Scouting’s premier training course designed by founder Baden-Powell in 1919 for scouters to learn leadership and practical Scouting skills.

October 14, 2013

Unit 576 (consisting of the Troop, Team and Crew of the Highlands Ward in Mountain Green, Morgan North Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) conducted their combined Eagle Scout Court of Honor with their normal Court of Honor at the Highlands Church Building on Oct. 2.  Cameron Winn, Star Scout in the Troop, conducted and the flag ceremony was performed by the Troop’s 11-year-old patrol under the direction of Jaxon Fowers.

Leonard Rulon Pearce celebrated his eightieth birthday on February the fifth.  He was born and raised on the avenues in Salt Lake City, and is the oldest of five children born to Rulon C. and Grace Just Pearce.

Friends, family, Scouters and Scouts joined forces Wednesday, 7 September, to honor their Boy Scouts.  The units from 276 are sponsored by the Mtn. Green Ward and the units from 576 are sponsored by the Highlands Ward; both are part of the Morgan North Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints.
