Dr. Kip and Heidi Jones live in Monte Verde, Mountain Green.  Kip is a dentist in Layton and Heidi is a stay-at-home mom to their four girls.  Both are natives of Utah, but they traveled a great deal in the early years of marriage before they returned home to Utah again. Seventeen years ago a teaching job brought Doug and Jane Curfew to Morgan. Since then, they have had the opportunity to serve many Morgan children. Doug, a fifth grade teacher at Morgan Elementary, plays a very influential role in the lives of these young children as they begin to make the transition from elementary to middle school. He really enjoys the students he teaches and they in turn enjoy him. The students especially enjoy Doug’s love of ‘80s music as they get to partake of it in the classroom.

After a Utah State basketball game Rob Colvin met Suzanne Udy for the first time. Rob who is from North Ogden, and Suzanne who is from Salt Lake City (a Skyline High School graduate), were both enrolled in the university. Rob knew he had met someone special and was immediately interested in getting to know her better. However, he didn’t have a scrap of paper or a pen with him to jot down her information.  Being the creative person that he is, Rob used an aluminum foil gum wrapper in his pocket to scratch down her phone number. It took two tries to make the phone call but fortunately he was able to find the right combination of numbers.

Fifteen years ago Amanda Hadlock’s roommates at Rick’s College found an ID on the ground.  They tracked down the owner and when he came to pick it up, Amanda and Markus met for the first time.  The two had grown up in Vernal and had many ties to each other. However, they had never met.  After that chance meeting they dated that summer and then they both attended Utah State the next year.  They were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1997 and have built a life together -all because of a misplaced ID.
