Surrounded by friends, family, coaches and teammates Bailey Farris signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for Division I volleyball powerhouse Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Farris received a full ride athletic scholarship and will begin her college  career next fall as an outside hitter for the Wolverines. Farris was courted by several instate colleges including Utah State and University of Utah but says that her decision was pretty easy. She has great respect for the coaching staff and she has watched them (UVU) dominate college volleyball in the state of Utah for the last several years. Additionally, Farris feels right at home on the UVU courts after being a part of the Morgan Trojans for back to back state championships there.

Ten years ago when the Morgan School District gave the temporary use of one of its buildings to have a Weber State University  information center in Morgan, no one could foresee the progress the center has made today. Barbara Anderson who has worked at the center from the time of opening, has seen this higher education learning center grow from an information center, to a testing center, to now a place where students can learn by taking classes via video conferencing (IVC).  Through video conferencing students can interact with the course instructor teaching from a distant campus.
