For some time the Morgan County Council has had discussion on whether to move from a four-day work week to a five-day work week.  There have been several concerns and ideas from elected officials within the courthouse in the last several months.  We are asking for input from the general public, so we can make an informed decision in your behalf.

Fire officials are issuing a strong caution as warmer weather arrives. Several field clearing and debris burns in Morgan, Summit, Salt Lake, Uintah, San Juan and Grand counties have escaped, requiring action by fire fighters. Fire managers say these fires were all preventable and they recommend taking some simple precautions to safely and successfully burn.

A new year begins. All of the holiday decorations have been taken down and put away, kids have gone back to school, and adults have returned to work. The start of each year is rich with ambition, hopes and dreams. The whole year is before us and anything is possible. What makes the difference between accomplishing the milestones we earnestly set out to achieve and letting our resolve slowly dissipate into inaction? Resolutions, goals, targets, objectives—however you refer to them—help you get to where you want to be.
