When I was younger it was not unusual to hear someone on the playground assert, “It’s a free country!” This was usually done when they were doing something that was not quite right, but they wanted to do it anyway. As I have grown older I have discovered that there is often a misperception of the freedoms we enjoy.

You don’t really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back. ~William D. Tammeus
Thursday, November 11, 2010 was a very memorable day for our Morgan Middle School students and the 250 guests who joined us for our annual Veterans Day Assembly. This is happening from wherever the person is at that moment. Last year when my son had his wisdom teeth out he asked the oral surgeon if he could record it so he could post it online.

We recently completed ‘mid-term’ elections. As usual Morgan citizens responded well with a relatively high percentage turn out. As a community we, like the rest of the nation, were mostly focused on the national scene. It is, after all, what we see and hear in the news. Unfortunately, sometimes we do not pay as close attention to what is going on in our own county as we should.
My husband and I did our due diligence in researching the qualifications, etc in reference to Clark, Hatch and Kilmer. In the primary we chose Clark because we felt that she would serve the County fairly and honestly.
