Voted the “Toughest Hillclimb in the World” for the past seven years
The Widowmaker hosts an outdoor adventure exposition with activities for the whole family.  These include heart stopping helicopter rides, and the 400’ Widowmaker zip line over the Lost Creek river. There are also free kid activities like face painting, water balloon launching, and much more.  Dirt Star Army will be back with a kid’s learn to course, and their high flying acrobatic mountain board show.  There are over 40 vendor booths selling and showing everything connected to motorcycles and extreme sports.
The Widowmaker is excited to host FUEL TV’s “Thrillbillies”, which will be coming to the event to seek a number of different thrilling stunts with tandem motorcycles to mini bikes.  It will make you wonder, “where do they come up with this stuff”?  
Widowmaker has more than 450 professional and 350 amateur riders, and is part of the Rockwell hillclimb series.  As the second race in the series, the Widowmaker boast of purse of over $40,000.  The Widowmaker has a long and famous history of extreme motorcycle riding.  From the days with Steve McQueen in “On Any Sunday” to “Travis Pastrana and The Nitro Circus”, the Widowmaker hill has been known as the ultimate test.  The Widowmaker has been voted as the “Toughest Hillclimb in the World” for the past seven years.  It’s easy to see why when you stand at the bottom and look up at the more than forty stories of rocks, brush, dirt, and motorcycle parts.  The hill has three different courses: The Pro Exhibition with a grueling 76 percent grade that test the skill and endurance of the fittest professional athlete. The Pro Altered Hill is 550 feet that is tamed only by pure horsepower, nerves of steel and adrenaline. The third hill is the Trophy Hill which offers its own unique challenge to the amateur riders. Who range in ages from 3 years old to 85, riding every form of motorcycles from 50cc shaft drives, to the vintage twin, to the latest altered models. 
Widowmaker grounds are located 45 minutes from Salt Lake City and 20 minutes from Ogden off I-84 in Croydon, Utah.   Widowmaker offers camping to anyone who likes to get away for the weekend and enjoy the outdoors.  You can enjoy fishing at Lost Creek Dam located just north of the Widowmaker, or tube down the Weber River with its class III rapids.  Camping is the best way to experience the Widowmaker weekend!
