Usually when Wasatch comes to Morgan there is a very close game. The same thing happened last Friday, for the first three minutes, and then it was all Morgan, as they sailed away to a huge victory.
Quarterback Colby Skinner threw an amazing pass to Jed Rowlan (see photo above) for a 47 yard pass early in the game and Chase Peterson kicked the point after, giving Morgan an early lead of 7-0 with 8:52 still in the first quarter.
Then at the end of the first quarter, Randon Prochnow ran a four yard run for the touchdown with Peterson' kick good once again.
In the second quarter Skinner threw a 20 yard touchdown to Lawson Toomer, and Peterson remains perfect on extra point attempts for the season.
The Wasps came back shortly after with a 56 yard pass to Babbitt and he their kicker mad the extra point to make it 21-7.
Still in the second quarter, Babbitt scored on yet another pass and the extra point was missed.
Then Robbie Nelson, (see story on him to the right) returned a reverse kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown and Peterson put another one through the goal posts making the score 28-13 for Morgan.
Then Morgan scored again after Tad Sargent ran a four yard touchdown, with Peterson's perfect kick giving Morgan a 35-13 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Graham Mortensen picked up a fumble and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown with, yes, Peterson, kicking another extra point.
Next, Morgan was sacked in their own endzone and gave up a safety to Wasatch, making the score 42.15. And, then Procknow finished the scoring for Morgan with a ten yard run, making it 48-15 before Chase "Holy Cow" Peterson kicked yet another point after attempt, and that is where the game scoring ended. Final score, Morgan  49. Wasatch 15.
