Citizens of Morgan County are invited to attend the open house and dedication of the new Trojan Century Center Tuesday, May 8.  The open house will run from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with dedication ceremonies running from 6:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The dedication comes 100 years following the approval of the then board of education to begin an official high school  in Morgan County, thus the name; Trojan Century Center.  The group began with 22 students in September of 1911, of which 10 became the first graduating class of Morgan High School on May 24, 1915.

Senior citizens are invited to the center each school day from 6:00 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. to walk the track and get in a little early morning exercise.  The center will be available for this use until the ending of school on May 24.
