Article Date:
14 October, 2011 (All day)

Mrs. Wilder is the new drama teacher at Morgan Middle School and Morgan High School this year. Her fiery red hair is a reflection of her fun, crazy personality and style.

She teaches two drama classes at the middle school, and three drama classes at the high school which include Advanced Theater and Stage Tech. Mrs. Wilder graduated from Roy High School. She then attended and graduated from Weber State in Theater and History Education. She feels that drama is the most important thing anyone can learn because it is a foundation for everything else; without it we cannot speak or move.

Mrs. Wilder’s favorite thing about teaching is when she sees that light bulb in her students’ heads go on. The students’ excitement makes her excited. She loves seeing students who are very passionate about what they are doing and feels pleased to know that maybe she inspired some of their passion.

Outside of being a teacher Mrs. Wilder enjoys directing plays and participating in her rock band. She sings and plays guitar in her band which her husband is also a part of. She has been married for three years and also has two very supportive parents. Mrs. Wilder enjoys everything about Morgan.

She absolutely loves the people here because they are so fun to be around and the families are very supportive. She thinks that Morgan Valley is a beautiful place and is excited for the opportunity to build her own drama program here in our community at our schools.
