Sons of Utah Pioneers request yard sale donations

Article Date:
24 May, 2013 (All day)

Springtime is a good time to rid ourselves of items that we no longer need or use but would be of value to others.  This year, why not donate those usable items to the Morgan Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers for their annual yard sale?  The yard sale will be held on June 15 on the corner of the Walker Mortuary from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Members of the SUP will pick up any items you wish to donate.  Contact Vaughn Larsen, (801) 829-6259 or Van Nelson, (801) 829-6743 for the Morgan area; or Ken Hicks (801) 243-3045 or Bill Bindrup, (801) 876-3288 for the Mountain Green/Peterson area.  Please indicate a suggested price on your items.
Proceeds from the yard sale are used for Morgan High School scholarships, Morgan High School Pioneer Essay awards, engraving and maintenance of two monuments in Morgan County, placement of books in the Morgan County Library in memory of deceased SUP members, and donations of the Pioneer magazine for Morgan County and high school libraries.  In addition, other worthy projects are sponsored to preserve and maintain our legacy of remembering and honoring the early pioneers who settled this beautiful valley.
Remember, the yard sale will be held June 15, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Come join in the fun.
