Monday, April 11 Quilters and anyone else who would like to go can travel to Salt Lake City for shopping at “Wimpole Street”.  Lunch is wherever everyone decides to stop.  Doris Thurgood will be your hostess and volunteer driver.  Please call the center for details.

Wednesday, April 13 - At 12:15 Karyl Chase will be here to talk about Senior Companions and what a vital resource they  and other volunteers are for our communities.  There will also be a few surprises available to our wonderful volunteers.

Monday, April 18 - 55 Alive Class - April 18th (Monday) from 9 a.m. until 1:00.  Participate in this informative class for four hours with Marie Nye as teacher and receive anywhere from a 3% to 7% discount on your automobile insurance for three years.  You will be amazed at how many ways you can improve your driving skills!  If you are a member of AARP cost is $12.00 with card.  Non-members are $14.00.

Tuesday, April 19 - Hugh Davis will be receiving the “Silver Bowl” award for volunteer recognition at the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake City.  Article and more information to follow.

Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point - April 19th @ 9 a.m.  Rick London will be volunteer driver for this event.  Folks who have seen this tulip festival say it is unbelievable.  Call for more info.

Thursday, April 21 - Madeline from USU Extension Office will have a demonstration immediately after lunch.

Tuesday April 26 - Jay Taggart’s History Class at 7 p.m.  Presentation on Thomas Jefferson.  Refreshments served.

Wednesday, April 27 -  McKay Dee Senior Care will sponsor a discussion on “Stroke Prevention” immediately after lunch at approximately 12:30.  Come and have lunch if you like or just come for the discussion.
