“It was a great Eagle Project, and helped many people,” stated Boy Scout, Ryan Millburn how he felt about the results of his service project. For the last couple of weeks Ryan has been collecting food and cash donations for the purpose of providing Thanksgiving dinner to families in Morgan County in need. It was estimated by the Morgan County Food Pantry that 25 families could use the help for Thanksgiving.

When asked, if he received a enough donations, his reply was,”We would have had enough for 25 families but only 20 signed up.”

The leftover donations will be utilized at the Food Pantry.

Ryan gratefully expressed, “Thank you to everyone, that help donate and the cub scouts for the centerpieces, and those that help put together the Thanksgiving boxes,”

The Thanksgiving Boxes were delivered or picked up on Tuesday and Wednesday from the Food Pantry.
