Ribbon cutting for new charter school

HighMark Charter School (HMCS), Davis counties newest charter school, is pleased to invite the community to tour the schools new facilities and classrooms. Public open houses will be on Aug. 6, 9, and 14, from 6-8 p.m. Tours and additional information on HighMark Charter School will be available at the open houses. The school is located at 2467 E. South Weber Drive in South Weber.
HMCS is also excited to announce that it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly constructed school on Thursday, August 23, at 6 p.m. School representatives and area dignitaries will be in attendance to commemorate the event. 
The charter school will include a media center, library, gymnasium, classrooms, commons areas and a school store. HMCS will have a technology enriched learning environment to help integrate business education. School will begin on Mon., August 27 for the 580 new students grades K-9.
HighMark Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school that will serve 580 students in Davis, Weber, and Morgan Counties. The mission of HMCS is to equip students with the highest quality education while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit by integrating practical business applications throughout the core curriculum.
