To chase away the winter blues, Get your mind to think of color hues.
The Morgan County Fair Quilt Auction will soon be here.
Every year, the quilt auction at the fair brings out the most talented and creative quilters in Morgan.  Since it takes time to make a quilt, this year we wanted to get the word out early.
We have appreciated all the quilts that have been donated in the past.  It is always a treat to see such a wide variety of talent from our community and to listen to the sights and sounds of the auction—where friends bid against friends, family against family, and strangers against strangers—all in the interest of
helping put money back into the county fair special project and taking home a prized quilt made with tender loving care.
In 2013 we had 17 quilts donated, which is the most ever.  What a thrill. Kurt Staply did an excellent job as auctioneer and will be back for this August.  We are hoping for another big success.
