Last week, after reports to the administration of potential inappropriate behavior, the school administration placed a part-time employee on administrative leave, pending results of criminal investigation by the sheriff’s office. The administration then engaged an independent review by a third party to ensure that their actions were appropriate and legal.

After a closed session school board meeting, the school board released this statement.  They said, “Last week a district employee was placed on administrative leave pending the results of a criminal investigation by the Sheriff’s office.  We as a School Board have reviewed the action taken by the administration and the manner in which it was handled.

An outside, independent party has conducted a review of the actions to ensure legality, professionalism, and timeliness.  As a result of that review, we wholly support the Administration in their actions and in the way it was handled.  We support the checks and balances in the system and continue the support of our Administrators who are professional and proper. “
