Wayne Irwin Pentz, 86, died December 21, 2013 at his home in Morgan, Utah.
Wayne was born in Morgan, a son of Jacob Grover Pentz and Ruby Leone Irwin. He married Arleen Jaques on December 1, 1967.
Anyone that knew Wayne knew he was always a hard worker. He was employed at Hill Air Force Base, Davis County and various construction companies. He also trained and shod many horses and sheared both small and large flocks of sheep. Wayne became a skilled fisherman, taking many horseback fishing trips to remote lakes in the Uinta Mountains, tying his own flies and most recently, ice fishing during the winter months.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Arleen; a son, Wade Malloy (Sandy); a daughter, Judy Duncombe; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Floriene Glass; a brother, Wendell Pentz; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Pentz and Waynetta Pentz. Wayne was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Wayne Pentz and a grandson, Jake Ivan Malloy.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Milton Cemetery. A viewing will be held before the services at Walker Mortuary in Morgan from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment will be held at the Milton Cemetery.
