Obituary - Dennis Harley Randall

Dennis Harley Randall passed away on August 3, 2011 in Salt Lake City of kidney disease. He was born Oct. 6, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to Alma Fernelius and Lena Marie Pyrah Randall.

He was raised in Morgan and graduated from Morgan High School in 1958. He served a mission in England from 1960-1962. He worked for the US postal service in Salt Lake City and retired after 37 years of service.

Dennis was a very kind and generous man. He would give you the shirt off his back, which he did in many cases. As a young man he loved to dance, and he liked to listen to music. He also was in the high school plays.

He was close to his nephew Russ Sommers, cousins Ken Cook and Carol Stokes, and niece Teresa Nelson.

He is survived by brother Kent (Jerry) Randall of Layton, sister Betty (Ed) Rose of Morgan, brother-in-law Dan (Shirley) Sommers of Morgan and brother Gary (Joy) Randall of Morgan as well as 14 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley, brother-in-law Ed Rose, niece Dana Buxton, nephews Greg Randall and Scott Sommers.

Dennis we love you very much and we appreciate all the good times we had. Dennis requested there would be no viewing or service and he was cremated at his request. His ashes spread somewhere in the Wasatch mountains. Love your family.
