Ron Litchfield of Clearfield, Utah, has accepted the offer to serve as the new transportation supervisor for the Morgan School District. Although Litchfield began work on Thursday after being chosen by a local selection committee, the school board will officially approve his employment at their September board meeting.
Litchfield is a graduate of Davis High School. He has a heavy duty diesel and transport refrigeration certificate, an Associate’s Degree in heavy duty diesel, and a Bachelor’s Degree in field service operations and technical sales. He has been employed by the Weber School District since 2006 maintaining and repairing their school bus fleet.
Litchfield also has additional expertise in mechanical computers and technical support.
“He is well qualified for this position and comes highly recommended by his previous employers,” Jacobs said. “We are very excited that Ron accepted our offer and look forward to working with him.”
“I believe he will be a positive asset to the Morgan School District,” said Bruce Galbraith, chairman of the Morgan County School Board.
