New real estate agent introduced to Morgan County

As resolutions are beingAs resolutions are being made for the new year, home ownership and better money management are often at the top of the list.  Debbie Leonard, one of Morgan City’s newest real estate brokers, hopes to assist residents in achieving some of those goals.
Leonard has over 11 years experience in the real estate industry and holds a GRI designation.  “I have experience in every facet of real estate,” commented Leonard.
Leonard moved to Morgan with her husband Gilbert in April of this year.  The couple had been longing to live in a small, rural town and decided that Morgan was the perfect fit.   “We have loved the community spirit here and the connection that we have with our neighbors,” Debbie said.
Gilbert is a mechanic and does ham radio and search and rescue.  Both Debbie and her husband are certified in disaster preparedness.  Leonard is a well-rounded person.  She enjoys rock collecting, metal detecting, camping, four wheeling, sewing and bingo.  The Gilbert family is definitely pet friendly.  They have two cats and a German Shepherd.  The couple has been married almost 37 years and they have two daughters and six grandchildren, who they spend a lot of time with.
When it comes to business, Debbie, really watches out for her clients.  She likes to make sure that anyone who buys a home through her is aware of all the programs that are available to them, whether it is paid closing costs or special down payment assistance programs.
Debbie also offers an email alert program.  Any time a home that matches their needs hits the MLS, they get an email with the full listing.  When sellers list their home, she offers a competitive commission assuring that only pre-qualified buyers view their homes.  
Everyone knows what a hassle it is to make sure your home is perfect for a showing, so this is an especially helpful service.  A full array of flattering pictures of the seller’s home is used to assure good first impressions as well.
“I stick with the buyer from start to finish, making sure I am always accessible to them for all of their needs,” assured Debbie, who also offers after-care marketing campaigns.
