Sub for Santa is a fundraiser that Morgan High School puts on every year.  All the money earned from Sub for Santa went to 21 families in the county.
Sub for Santa took place December 1 – December 21.  In order to get all the cans the FFA members would go around in the mornings during first hour and collect money and cans.
Morgan High School raised 400 cans and $1,057 for Sub for Santa.  Along with the rest of the county the middle school was also involved, they had a contest between the grades and together they gathered 3,711 cans.  The FFA had also went and put cans in the stores in Morgan for the community to donate money for Sub for Santa. Once Sub for Santa was over the FFA took all the cans over to Mrs. Carrigan’s food lab, there the FCCLA would then count all the cans.
Together, we were able to help 21 Morgan County families this Christmas.  A huge thanks to all who helped for Sub for Santa and all who donated!
