Morgan Sterling Scholars take high honors

The Northeastern Utah Region Sterling Scholars competition was held Monday, April 15, 2013, at Wasatch High School in Heber City.  This region consists of students from Altamont, Duchesne, Dugway, Grantsville, Morgan, North Summit, Park City, Rich, South Summit, Tabiona, Uintah, Union, Wasatch and Wendover high schools.
Jennifer Hardman, features reporter for KSL 5 News, was the mistress of ceremonies and delivered a motivational address during the ceremony. 
Winners were announced in 14 different categories with 150 student entries.  Morgan High School recipients of awards were as follows:  Jacob Caldwell, Winner, Social Science; Karlee Ann Stokes, Winner, Science; Taylor Preslar, Runner-up, Business and Marketing; Natasha Andersen, Runner-up, English; Amanda Porter, Runner-up, Foreign Language; Tyson Butterfield, Runner-up, Mathematics; Alayna Gunn, Runner-up, Music; Kaylee Andreason, Runner-up, Speech and Drama; and Cheridyn Prochnow, Runner-up, General.
 
Morgan High School is extremely proud of all of the Sterling Scholars and their accomplishments.
