Bowling: The Morgan Stars had a great time competing in the Snowball Classic Winter Games.  Throughout the Month of January, our athletes had an opportunity to compete in singles, doubles, team, and unified team tournaments.  The athletes won a lot of medals, forged new friendships, and most importantly, had a lot of fun!   We would like to extend a special thanks to all of our parents, families, and especially our amazing Coaches, Keith Orton, Misty Spendlove, and Dennis Peterson.  Thanks to the coaches for donating so much time, talent, skill, and patience.  It was amazing to watch the athletes as they learned new skills and accomplished so much.

Volleyball: February brought the State Volleyball Tournament.   Our athletes, along with several of the Morgan High team members made up three unified teams.  Each team placed in their respective divisions, one team took home silver medals, and two teams took home gold!  The day of the tournament, our athletes played under the direction and expertise of our awesome coaches:  Liz Wiscomb, Julia Fisher, and Jamie Blomquist.  It is with the help of these great coaches that our athletes learned how to work as a team.  We thank them for all of the hours they spent teaching and working with our team members.

Upcoming Fundraisers: As the Summer Games are fast approaching, we still are in need of donations to cover the expense of uniforms, travel, lodging, and entrance fees for our athletes.  The 3 day State Track and Field competition is held at SUU in Cedar City, and is always a memorable experience.  In order to meet these upcoming expenses, we are holding several fundraisers.

We had a root beer float fundraiser last weekend at the Emigration Harmons, which was very successful.  Thank you to the athletes, coaches, and parents who spent their time helping out.

We have two additional root beer float fundraisers, the first is being held Friday, March 16th at the Farmington Station Park Harmons from 4-7pm; the second is Saturday, March 24th at the Roy Harmons from 11am-7pm.  Please come out to support your local team, and be sure to tell all your friends and family!

A special thanks to Harmons Grocery Stores for hosting and providing all the supplies for the fundraisers, and for donating 100% of the proceeds to the Morgan Stars.

If you would like to make a donation to the Morgan Stars, please contact the Fundraising Chairperson, Jana Carter at 801-829-4987.  Thank you for your support!
