Article Date:
4 January, 2014 (All day)

Students and teachers may be enjoying the summer break, but plans for the coming school year are well underway. The Morgan Education Foundation invites you to join with them in support of local public schools by participating in the sixth annual Morgan Education Foundation Golf Tournament on Aug. 5, 2014 at Round Valley Golf Course.
Registration forms are being accepted now for individual golfers and foursomes. Registration information and forms are available on the Foundation’s website at www.morganeducationfoundation.org.
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in the scramble-format tournament and enjoy lunch at the bowery located next to the clubhouse after the 18-hole round of golf. The Foundation is also seeking hole-sponsors beginning at $150 and soliciting prize donations for the fundraising event.
The Morgan Education Foundation was founded in 2007 to help bring about excellence in education for children enrolled with Morgan County School District. Funds raised by the foundation are available to teachers through a classroom grant process. The foundation also utilizes these funds to support arts and athletic programs, pay for much-needed technology upgrades, and provide college scholarships for graduating seniors.
Should you have any questions about the event, please contact the foundation at 801-829-3411 or mef@morgansd.org.
