Morgan Community Choir presents 15th annual spring concert

Article Date:
2 May, 2014 (All day)

Come celebrate spring at Morgan Community Choir’s 15th annual spring concert to be held Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in the Morgan High School auditorium.  The choir sings old familiar favorites like selections from “The Sound of Music,” “American Folk Suite,” “The Prayer” and the beautiful “Homeland” set to the music of Gustav Holst.  Sacred hymns, a famous newer Broadway tune and even a vocal version of the “William Tell Overture” are part of the fun too.
The choir concert is free and light refreshments are served afterwards in the high school commons.  The choir is directed by Lois Manning, and accompanied by pianist Aimee Ferrin.
The choir has members from all over Morgan County and rehearses every Wednesday night from September through April in the high school choir room.  New members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining the choir, please call Lois Manning at (801) 829-6990.
Make the community choir spring concert part of your family’s tradition of enjoying the beautiful spring in Morgan.
