Morgan ‘Pocket Change’ Invitational Track Meet

Sat. April 21, Morgan High School will be hosting their fifth annual track and field invitational.

Thirteen schools will be participating in a state qualifying meet at Morgan High where athletes are able to become eligible for the state track meet if they reach those qualifying marks set by the state for 2012.  The sponsor of the meet is Pocket Change Dollar Store of Morgan with owner Julie Duerden .  This will be the fifth year Pocket Changes has sponsored the invitational, and the Morgan Track Team would like to thank Julie Duerden for her continued support of Morgan track.

The meet starts at 9 a.m. with the girls 3200m being the first running event and in the field events it will be girls” discus, and high jump and boys long jump, javelin and shot.  The day will be filled with excitement, the stands with teams and spectators and the refreshment stand selling things to eat.
