MHS Operation Graduation plans announced

Article Date:
19 April, 2013 (All day)

The purpose of Operation Graduation is to keep our graduates safe and in a positive environment where they can celebrate with their graduating class the night of graduation.  Preparation for this year’s Operation Graduation began in July of 2012. Operation Graduation sponsors a food booth at the Morgan County Fair.  Seniors and their parents work at the booth to raise money for the Operation Graduation Celebration that will be held the night of graduation.
The Senior Class also does a service project and money is donated to Operation Graduation. We need help from the entire Senior Class for our Senior Service Project. GIVING SERVICE HELPS EVERYONE!! This year our service project will be to clean up the walking path behind Morgan High School.  It will be held on Monday, May 6, at 2:45 p.m.  Seniors will need to bring rakes and shovels.  Come out and give service and have lots of fun!!
We are really getting excited for Operation Graduation Celebration. The administration, parents, faculty and community sponsors a celebration for the graduates that begins at 9 p.m. and lasts throughout the night. Check in for the evening will be from 8:30 to 9 p.m.
The Operation Graduation Celebration is a special party for the Class of 2013. They will be fed amazing food (they will not go hungry). Prizes will be awarded to each senior. There are games and activities for the seniors to enjoy.  The games include bowling, 4-wheelers, The Amazing Race, Jeopardy, WII-Just Dance, and many more until the wee hours of the morning.
Operation Graduation is made possible because of many generous donations. We also realize we are in tough economic times. It does take contributions to make Operation Graduation a success. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Morgan High School for Operation Graduation.
