Mable Welsh receives silver bowl award

Each year the Lt. Governor presents the Silver Bowl Award to volunteers for outstanding volunteer service. This year Mable Welsh received the Silver Bowl award. She was the only volunteer at the ceremony in Provo to receive a standing ovation and then a kiss on the forehead from the Lt. Governor. 

Welsh was born January 20, 1912 (100 years ago). She volunteers at the Morgan Senior Center. She is truly dedicated to service in the Morgan Community and making Morgan County a better place. Lieutenant Governor Greg Bell & Utah Volunteer Center Directors presented the Silver Bowl Awards.
