Louis’ Mexican Restaurant of Morgan will be a huge contributorto an exclusive fund raiser this year for Operation Smile.
Brant and Yolanda Hayward of Mountain Green, who also run Major Mortgage in Ogden. This is the first year they have been involved with Operation Smile. Operation Smile is an organization that helps kids with clef pallets in 3rd world countries mostly, but not exclusively. The organization has helped kids in Central and South America as well as the Phillipines. Operation Smile was started in Utah by Dentists. Brant and Yolanda Hayward seek opportunities to help others. Their office staff, who have said, “They always like to do things that will help others. Especially when it comes to being involved and supporting local businesses and organization,” said the secretary at Major Mortgage.
This year they will be hosting a fund raising dinner at Major Mortgage building at 103 25th St. in Ogden. Since Louis’s Restaurant is one of their favorite places to eat, Louis Restaurant stepped up and volunteered to cater the Benefit Dinner for Operation Smile.
The tickets and seating are limited, so early reservations a definite must. There will be an account set up for those who want to contribute to Operation Smile, as the donations are very much needed to cover $240 per child operations. Donations are tax deductible.
Louis is very eager to help with the cause, and to cook some of his most exquisite cuisines, such as Classic Escargot, Pan Seared Scallops, Surf and Turf Ahi Tuna, and all will be sure to enjoy and savor the moment of his signature dessert of Pears Helena. This will sure to be a memorable evening, served up from Morgan’s own Louis Restaurant.
