Emotions were high on Tuesday night as the Judge Memorial Bulldogs came to Morgan for the first region volleyball game on our home court of the season.
The Freshmen had a scrimmage against the Sophomores just for fun and to help everybody stay loose. Judge does not have Freshmen attending their facility, so it was a great opportunity for the Freshmen to help the Sophomores warm up. It must have been a great idea, seeing that the Sophomores won in three fairly easy games.
The J.V. also had little problem with the Lady Bulldogs and also won in three straight. The Varsity team came out firing with Spud Garfield and Bailey Farris each with 16 kills. Brittney Visage and Megan Stapley had a couple of impressive solo blocks to keep the team battling. The back row play of Jaesee Dye, Hannah McDermott, and Taylor Weitzeil kept the ball in play and we came away with a win in three games with scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-21.
