The Lady Trojan Volleyball Team Starts off Strong

Region 11 play is underway for Lady Trojan volleyball, with wins against Grantsville, Ben Lomond, and Stansbury.

The ladies played their season opener against Grantsville on September 6.  Taking the match in 3 games, 25-16, 25-14, and 25-17, Lady Trojan volleyball got a solid win.  Senior, Bailey Farris lead both teams in kills (16) and passing (17).

On September 8, the match against Ben Lomond was much the same, 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.  Teamwork and playing hard for every point helped give the Lady Trojans the win.

With a strong team effort and a great performance by Cassidee Lish, 17 attacks and 10 kills as well as four ace serves, the team took the match against Stansbury in 3, 25-12, 25-17, and 25-21.

The Lady Trojans will meet Bear River, Tooele, and Ogden to finish out the first half of region play.
