The Utah Department of Transportation is in process up upgrading the surface of Interstate 84.  The project will continue until this fall.  During the construction one lane of traffic in each direction will remain open.

The project will replace the existing paved surface with a new concrete road.  Concrete paving will take place from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. periodically through the project.

Construction began on August 13 and will continue into the fall.  This project is a part of the overall restoration project for Interstate 84.

The project will take place in two segments.  The first segment is Westbound from Morgan to Peterson.   This segment is expected to be completed by November of this year.

The second segment includes Westbound Peterson to Mountain Green and Eastbound from Mountain Green to Morgan.  This segment is projected to be complete by the fall of 2012.

UDOT has established a project-dedicated public involvement team for this project.  For more information the team can be contacted via phone at 800-292-3557 or via email at info@frontlinepi.com .
