Do you have plans for Memorial Day weekend? If you don’t, then you’re in luck. And if you do, you may want to reconsider spending some time at one of northern Utah’s most spectacular community events.

Hill AFB is hosting an open house and air show featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds the weekend of May 26-27. The two-day event is free and open to the public.

“We’re excited to be hosting the event this Memorial Day weekend featuring Air Force’s own Thunderbirds,” said Lt. Col. Juris Jansons, 75th Operations Support Squadron commander and this year’s event coordinator. “This is a tremendous opportunity to show the communities we serve what their Air Force is all about.”

Support from the Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee will bring in several world-class aerial performers including Tim Weber, Dan Buchanan, the Red Eagles, the Red Bull Team, Erickson Air, and Smoke and Thunder just to name a few.
