Grand Re-Opening of Salon Roots

Article Date:
21 October, 2011 (All day)

Roots Hair Salon will celebrate their grand re-opening on Sat. Oct. 29, 2011.

Roots was started three years ago by long time Morgan resident, Janica Ricettes.

Janica, a self proclaimed “true Morganite”  is the daughter of  Paul and Chris Johnson. Her mother Chris always has been involved in the hair dressing industry, so it was a profession that Janica naturally took an interest in.  Ricettes was always part of the salon life, and desired to one day own her own business and set her own hours. She has been a hair dresser for the past 10 years.

Her desire to create a place of style and professionalism drove her to create the salon Roots.  Roots stands as a full service Salon, offering manicures, pedicures, hair stylist and nail techs. When asked what sets Roots apart from any other salon, besides the modern interior design and ritzy feel, Janica replied, “It’s the hair stylist and nail tech’s competence and qualifications that I know I can trust everyone who works here to do a good job.”

Current employees are Janica Johnson Ricketts, Ali Rich, Allison Larson, Julie Clark, Sariah Dickson, Kristi Orn, Deana Stuart and Jasmine Freed.

The grand re opening of Roots will begin on Sat. Oct. 29, 10:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Other home and health care businesses are teaming up with Roots, such as Scentsy, Premier Design Jewelry, Bag-it Imports, Lavender Hill, and more. Free consultations will be available for permanent make up through Deana Stuart and also free consultations for eyelash extentions by Jasmine Freed.
