In addition, a treasure trove of information awaits you at the Morgan County Library! One of the many services available through the library is Pioneer: Utah’s Online Library.
What is Pioneer: Utah’s Online Library?
“Pioneer is a virtual library created by the Utah State Library Division in cooperation with Utah’s public libraries. It is one component of the statewide Pioneer project, which serves Utah’s public schools and academic institutions, as well as patrons of public libraries.
“The Pioneer databases include journal articles, magazines, newspapers, pictures, biographies, and other research aides that are unavailable on the “free” internet. . . . They are available to you in your local public library or in your own home.
If you have a computer and/or a hand held device you have access to dozens of the Pioneer databases which have been made available to all public libraries in the State of Utah by the Utah State Library and the Utah Department of Community and Culture.
These databases can be accessed by going to pioneer.utah.gov.
Do you like genealogy and family history? Click on HeritageQuest.
Do you need an auto repair manual? Click on Auto Repair Reference Center (ARRC).
Do you need specific information about a business or business’s? Click on Reference USA.
Do you want to read an article printed in the Denver Post? Click on Newsbank.
Do you need help planning for your education and a career? Click on UtahFutures.
Would you like to see what is available in the Mountain West Digital Library? Click on the Digital Collections link at the top of the Pioneer page, then on Digital Utah.
Would you like to download an e-audio, at no charge, to your Android, Blackberry, iPad, iPod touch or iPhone? From the Pioneer homepage, under Pioneer Databases, click on OneClickdigital OR Overdrive.
Would you like to download an e-book, at no charge, to your Kindle (need to have an Amazon account) or Nook? From the Pioneer homepage, under Pioneer Databases, click on Overdrive. Please note: E-books are available from Overdrive only.

Also available to Morgan County Library patrons is the ability to access your account online. You can view your account, place holds and renew items checked out to you.
An access code is necessary to access the Pioneer databases. You will also need to create an account to view your Morgan County Library account.
