Facing additional charges about to be filed by the Morgan County Attorney, Josie Foster plead guilty and provided a written confession on Wednesday to two felony charges, burglary and possession of a controlled substance.  Foster admitted to burglarizing multiple Morgan County homes.  The burglary charge carries a sentence of between one and fifteen years and the possession charge between zero and five years.

The deal Foster struck will place her in a drug testing program.  She will have weekly testing to ensure that she remains drug free.  If she remains drug free for eighteen months, the charges will be dropped.  If Foster tests positive for drugs during this time she will face sentencing without a trial since she plead guilty to the charges.  “My goal is to get her some help, if she is willing to.” said Jann Farris, Morgan County Attorney.  Farris also confirmed that Foster will be required to make restitution to the county residents whose homes she burgled.
