Football Season Ends

Article Date:
4 November, 2011 (All day)

This season has been the best I have seen these boys play with their hearts.  As this season comes to an end, we see the tears of dedication and of sacrifice come to a halt.  The last region game against the Spanish Fork Don’s was a hard loss at 20 to 35. However it was fought well and the Morgan Varsity football made some very strategic plays and grew together in trusting each other, trusting the coaches, and showing unity as a team. Spanish Fork commented that this game and playing against the Morgan Trojans, was the toughest game they have played against all year.

I have come to see the love that these boys have for their team and for the game. Boys, I want you all to know that we love you, we appreciate you, and you have shown us the true potential we all have. Thank you for making my senior year amazing and suspenseful. “Football is like life; it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.”-VINCE LOMBARDI
