This last weekend, the Morgan FFA Chapter attended state convention. While there, students supported fellow peers in their achievements, competed at the state level and learned important leadership skills.
Three members of our chapter proved their abilities in these categories and displayed the skills which an FFA member should possess all throughout the past year in order to earn their state degree.
Congratulations to Bryan Chappell, Bryce Preece and Katie Spens for receiving such an honor.
Members who attended but did not compete took the opportunity to escort competitors in order to help those hosting the competition.
Part of the FFA motto states “living to serve” and these members most certainly lived up to the standard.
Later on, for a little rest and relief, there was a dance specifically held for Utah FFA members.
Overall, every student who attended was able to take away something useful that is individual to their person.
