Community Choir Concert Scheduled

Article Date:
22 April, 2011 (All day)

“Oh the weather outside is frightful...”  The Morgan Community Choir presents its 12th Annual Spring Concert on Monday, May 2, at 7:00 p.m. at Morgan High School.  Even it if it is snowing!

The choir will celebrate spring in hopes that spring will actually arrive this year sometime.  Music including “It’s a Grand Night for Singing”, “Homeward Bound”, “Misty Morning”,  “Rejoice the Lord is King”,  a medley from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, and Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America” should put a song in our heart and a spring in our step.

The choir is directed by Lois Manning, accompanists are Karren Schick and Aimee Ferrin.  The concert is free and everyone is welcome to join the choir for light refreshments in the Commons area immediately following the concert.
