The Church of Latter-day Saints’ Morgan Stake Relief Society will hold their annual Women’s Retreat Jan. 26, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The theme for this year is “Guardians of the Hearth.” This retreat will focus on enriching, nurturing and defending the home.
Participants will be able to choose three out of five classes offered. Lunch will be served following the classes. This year, the class leaders have agreed to teach their classes an additional one time after lunch for those interested in attending a fourth class.
The classes being offered this year are all on topics relating to guarding and protecting the home in these perilous times.
Classes will include: It’s About Time - Technology, Increases, Modern Day, Experiences, taught by Jill Hatch; The Language of Love—Keep the Home Fires Burning, taught by Debbie Walker; Circle the Wagons—How to Survive in Enemy Territory, taught by Susan Wiscombe; Keeping Life’s Demands in Balance - Enduring It Well, taught by Ginny Finklea; and Living the Life You Dreamed Of—But If Not, taught by Cindy Cloninger.
