50th Anniversary - Bob and Karel Mae Dickson

Bob and Karel Mae Dickson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month. They were married June 30, 1961 in Morgan Utah.  Both Bob and Karel Mae were born and raised in Morgan. They started their family here then moved in 1970 to Vernal, Utah where they still reside.  

Bob worked as a government trapper for 25 years. Since his retirement he enjoys painting, woodcarving, hunting, fishing, and herding cows. Karel Mae retired from the Uintah School District after 27 years of helping in the special needs program. Her hobbies include reading, sewing, and camping.  They loved serving together in Conception, Chile for two years as full time missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They still spend their time supporting their children, 27 grandchildren, and eight great-grand children in any activity they can.  The family would love to have you join them in a celebration at their home, June, 25th in Vernal, Utah.  Their children are Dana and Dean Vernon, Layton; Brenda and Dave Webster, Morgan; Brad Dickson, Vernal; Derek Dickson (deceased), Quin and Janelle Dickson, Lapoint; Amy and Bart Vernon; Dixie and Daren Whitlock, Vernal, Utah.
