‘Mountains Conquered’ book released by DUP

If you are wondering what to get for that certain person on your list, you should really consider a book written for specifically for Morgan County residents.
“Mountains Conquered” is a book all about Morgan County. It contains biographies of local residents and many interesting facts about county history. In 1959, the Fine Arts study group along with The Morgan County News publishers, printed this great book.  This is definitely a keepsake to be handed down to families members.

To our pioneer forefathers, whose great faith and stoicism withstood untold adversity and heartbreak in the founding and settlement of Morgan County, 1855.
